Tim and Rupert founded the club to share their love of motorcycles and bring together like-minded riders.
The original Facebook community began in 2024 under the rather snappy name “Northants and Milton Keynes Rideout Group.” By the summer of 2025, it had grown steadily to almost 500 members. To help support the expanding community and organise future rideouts, Florin and John joined Tim and Rupert as group administrators.
Rupert tentatively suggested that the group needed a new name, and the admin team responded with a resounding “Yes!” It needed to be shorter, more memorable and connected to the club’s Milton Keynes roots. But what is Milton Keynes famous for? Roundabouts and, of course, Concrete Cows. The choice suddenly seemed obvious, and from the original Facebook group, Concrete Cows Motorcycle Club was born.
The club’s values remain simple: ride safely, welcome everyone warmly and leave every stop better than we found it. We are proud of our diverse membership and the friendly, supportive community it has created. When someone finds themselves in a difficult situation, members readily come together to help sharing not only their motorcycling knowledge, but also the skills, experience and friendship gained from all walks of life. Tim brings a lifetime of experience, a qualified mechanic and has been around motorcycles, both on and off-road, from a very young age. Rupert utilises his expertise in electronics and IT to repair, customise and modernise classic bikes and has a particular passion for japanese cruisers. Florin enjoys his long distance rides, he can be found touring the Italian mountains or the countryside roads of Romania, really racking up the miles, but is just as likely to be seen at local events and meets with the others perusing what is on display. John enjoys both sports bikes and big American cruisers, his work brings him close relationships with motorcycle dealers, importers and exporters and he has a vast knowledge of the UK marketplace.
